AFFORDABLE HOUSING - local houses for local people
20/08/2008

After a public meeting in the Town Hall in March of this year The Ashburton Affordable Housing Group was formed. The aim of the group is to provide local affordable housing for local people. The first task the group has is to establish the need for affordable housing and whether there is support for such a scheme.

The group has delivered a survey to every household in Ashburton to enable it to find out who needs affordable housing. We need everyone to complete this survey and return it to Michael Posner at the town hall by 5 September.

If you have not received a copy of the survey, please pick one up from the town clerk’s office, Monday to Thursday between 10am and noon or, alternatively, the Information Centre behind the town hall

Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire. The information given on this form will be dealt with in the strictest confidence, if a housing need is identified you will be contacted. The results of survey will be available in the coming months and will help the parish to decide on housing needs in Ashburton.
